2024 Nissan Frontier Maintenance Schedule
2024 Nissan Frontier Maintenance Schedule
Your 2024 Nissan Frontier is built to last, and you can help it run smoothly for the longest life possible by taking it in for regular scheduled maintenance. On this page, we summarize Nissan’s recommended maintenance intervals for this vehicle. Our skilled Nissan-certified technicians will perform these tasks on your Frontier during the appropriate service visits.
7,500-Mile Maintenance (or every 6 months)
The Frontier should receive maintenance service with standard use every 7,500 miles or six months. If you are harder on your truck than average, you may require additional services or more frequent visits (ask your Pohanka Nissan technician for guidance). Here are the tasks that are recommended during these intervals:
- Engine oil and filter replacement: Clean oil lubricates the engine parts and carries away contaminants, which are then trapped in the oil filter.
- Tire rotation: Regularly rotating the tires allows the tread to wear evenly so that the tires grip the road better and last longer.
15,000-Mile Maintenance (or once per year)
The items from the 7,500-mile maintenance service get repeated at this time, and Nissan recommends replacing the cabin air filter as well to keep allergens at bay. If your Frontier is 4WD, the propeller shaft should also be lubricated during this service visit.
22,500-Mile Maintenance
The 7,500-mile service list is again covered at this visit (tire rotation and oil change).
30,000-Mile Maintenance (or every 2 years)
For this appointment, the 15,000-mile service gets repeated with a tire rotation, engine oil and filter change, and cabin air filter replacement. It’s also time for fresh brake fluid and replacement of the engine air filters.
37,500-Mile Maintenance
During this service, our technicians will again repeat the steps from the 7,500-mile visit (tire rotation and oil change).
45,000-Mile Maintenance (or every 3 years)
Nissan recommends repeating the 15,000-mile service at this time (engine oil and filter replacement, tire rotation, and cabin air filter replacement). This is also the interval where the Intelligent Key battery should be replaced. Frontiers with 4WD also need to have the propeller shaft lubricated again.
52,500-Mile Maintenance
This milestone involves just a basic 7,500-mile service interval, with replacement of the engine oil and filter with a tire rotation.
60,000-Mile Maintenance (or every 4 years)
This service visit is a repeat of the 30,000-mile interval, entailing the following:
- Engine oil and filter change
- Brake fluid replacement
- Rotate tires
- Lubricate the propeller shaft (4WD only)
- Replace the in-cabin air filter
- Replace the engine air filters
67,500-Mile Maintenance
This service repeats the 7,500-mile appointment, including a tire rotation and regular engine oil/filter replacement. It is also the time when the Intelligent Key battery gets replaced.
75,000-Mile Maintenance (or every 5 years)
As a repeat of the 15,000-mile maintenance service, your Frontier gets an engine oil/filter change, rotated tires, a new in-cabin air filter, and a lubricated propeller shaft (4WD models).
82,500-Mile Maintenance
This visit is another duplication of the 7,500-mile interval appointment, with a tire rotation and engine oil/filter change.

At this major milestone, your Frontier will be due once again for these crucial maintenance items:
- Engine oil and filter change
- Installation of a new Intelligent Key battery
- Rotating the tires
- Cabin air filter replacement
- Propeller shaft lubrication (4WD only)
- Brake fluid replacement

105,000-Mile Maintenance (or every 7 years)
There are some new jobs to be performed on your Nissan Frontier at this time, along with some regular maintenance.
- Engine oil and filter change
- Lubricate propeller shaft (4WD only)
- Rotate tires
- Engine coolant replacement
- Replace the in-cabin air filter
- Replace spark plugs
112,500-Mile Maintenance
The basic service requires a tire rotation and engine oil/filter replacement, while the Intelligent Key battery should also be replaced.
120,000-Mile Maintenance (or every 8 years)
This visit serves as a repeat of the 60,000-mile service, requiring the following:
- Engine oil and filter change
- Lubrication of propeller shaft (4WD only)
- Tire rotation
- Brake fluid replacement
- Cabin air filter replacement
- Engine air filter replacement
Once you pass the 120,000-mile mark, continue to bring your Frontier to Pohanka Nissan of Stafford for maintenance at the same mileage/time intervals (these are also listed in your service manual).
Regular Inspections (every visit)
