S

The S is the most basically equipped of the Kicks trims, but that doesn’t mean it’s not outfitted adequately. It has proximity keyless entry, auto on/off halogen headlights, manually controlled air conditioning, cloth seats, push-button start, a six-way adjustable driver's seat, cruise control, and 16-inch steel wheels with covers. It also gets the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite, which contains automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic braking, rear parking sensors, and automatic high beams. Its 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system manages a sound system with six speakers plus Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth.

SV

Buyers of the mid-level SV will feel spoiled by remote start, allowing them to get into a climate-controlled vehicle in extreme weather. This trim also comes with a 7-inch driver information display, heated side mirrors, roof rails, a digital tachometer, additional cabin lighting, and a center console with an armrest, while its outer appearance rises with 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels. Adaptive cruise control and a driver alertness monitor join the safety tech suite. The infotainment system is upgraded with an 8-inch touchscreen as well as access to a Wi-Fi hotspot, NissanConnect Services, and over-the-air update capabilities.

SR

The SR is the ultimate Kicks trim, as it shows off LED low-beam headlights, LED fog lights, heated side mirrors with built-in turn-signal indicators, automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel. As far as its looks, it gets special exterior touches, including a rear spoiler. Like the SV, it builds up its safety tech array with adaptive cruise control and a driver alertness monitor, but the driver can also keep a 360-degree eye on things via the standard surround-view monitor. The optional SR Premium Package will add Prima-Tex upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a vehicle security system, a cargo-area cover, and an eight-speaker Bose audio system with a special speaker mounted within the driver’s headrest.
