For model year 2025, the ever-reliable Sentra now includes Nissan Maintenance Care, a complimentary service plan covering up to three oil changes for 2 years or 24,000 miles. The mid-level SV trim is now eligible for NissanConnect Services as well.
Trims, Powertrain, and Fuel Efficiency
The 2025 Sentra comes in three trim choices: S, SV, and SR. They’re all outfitted with a 149-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine; the powertrain is completed by a continuously variable transmission (CVT). This setup sends power to the front-wheel drivetrain and enables excellent fuel efficiency, with all trims rated by the EPA to achieve 30 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway.
Standard and Available Features
The base S trim is equipped with essential amenities, such as cloth upholstery, manually adjustable front seats, a 60/40-split folding rear seatback, remote keyless entry, push-button ignition, cruise control, a USB port, a 12-volt power outlet, and halogen headlights. The SV enhances convenience with proximity keyless entry and adds two more USB ports. Buyers can order the Premium Package to get leather upholstery, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a moonroof, and turn-signal indicators for the side mirrors. Likewise, the All-Weather Package will add heated front seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated side mirrors, and remote start.
The SR trim comes with LED headlights and the contents of the All-Weather Package (although the genuine leather upholstery is replaced by simulated leather). This top trim is also eligible for the Premium Package for even more refinement. All trims qualify for the optional frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink.
Advanced Safety Tech
One of the Sentra’s strongest selling points is its standard Safety Shield 360 suite, which includes a full array of cutting-edge driving aids. These technologies consist of forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear parking sensors, reverse automatic braking, blind-spot warning, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and driver attention monitoring. As the higher trims, the SV and SR also get adaptive cruise control; they’re also eligible for the Intelligent Around-View Monitor via the Premium Package.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The entry-level S comes with a 7-inch touchscreen that integrates Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an audio system with four speakers, voice recognition (Siri Eyes Free and Google Assistant), and Bluetooth hands-free connectivity and audio streaming. The SV and SR step up to an 8-inch touchscreen with SiriusXM satellite radio and six speakers. The available Premium Package will provide a top-grade Bose audio system, NissanConnect Services, and an in-car Wi-Fi hotspot.
